November 25, 2014
We are thrilled to open registration for the 2015 Masorti on Campus Shabbaton, to be held February 20-22, 2015 at the University of Maryland, College Park. This Shabbaton will provide an extraordinary opportunity for students from Traditional-Egalitarian Jewish campus communities to come together and learn from both their peers and professional Jewish educators.
The theme of this year’s Shabbaton is, Hinenu: Modern Methods, Timeless Traditions. Students will hear from an exciting, innovative, and reputable slate of Jewish professionals. They will collectively develop and learn how to employ new methods to embrace our timeless traditions. Speakers include: Eric Fingerhut, President and CEO of Hillel International; David Yarus, Founder of JSwipe; and Joey Weisenberg, Creative Director of Mechon Hadar’s Center for Communal Jewish Music; and many, many more!
Students will participate in the Shabbaton’s four distinct but interconnected tracks: Community Building, Prayer and Song Leading, Navigation, and Education. Download and share the 2015Flyer.
To register, please follow the links below. Take note of the separate links for University of Maryland and non-University of Maryland students; make sure to visit the appropriate link.
